Iraq - Media Cover Up Italian Shooting

The media, including the BBC, are covering up important facts about the shooting of Italian journalist Giuliana Sgrena.

Patterico reports the important evidence that is being covered up and how the LA Times edited out the evidence from the Reuters report.

CBS news has reported that a U.S. satellite had filmed the shooting and that it had been established the car carrying Calipari was traveling at more than 60 mph per hour [sic] as it approached the U.S. checkpoint in Baghdad.

For me, the most compelling evidence that the American story is the truth, is the fact that Sgrena is alive. If the US wanted her dead, why not kill everyone in the car? That way yours is the only story to be told.
